This is the kind of spot where breakfast and lunch unfold as leisurely celebrations of the day’s simple pleasures. Plates arrive generously portioned and thoughtfully prepared — like the moment when a stack of cinnamon roll pancakes arrives lightly glazed and fragrant, or an omelet arrives stuffed with hearty, homey ingredients, each bite echoing a sense of care. Coffee here carries its own comforting presence, whether it’s a cappuccino remembered for its frothy creaminess or a playful teddy bear latte bringing a hint of whimsy to your cup.
Lucky Brunch is equally at ease with weekday diners who slip in for a quick, satisfying meal and weekend crowds who don’t mind a little wait in exchange for a welcoming seat and good company. Behind the counter, there’s a constant dance of takeout orders — a quiet testament to the spot’s local devotion. And yet, within this flow, you’ll find attentive servers who remember your preferences and foster a sense of belonging, making each visit feel less like a transaction and more like stopping by a friend’s kitchen.

Very Enjoyable Spot! Our servers were awesome. The women who took our order was very helpful, patient, and pleasant. All of her recommendations were spot on. The chicken strips were well seasoned. I asked for my waffles to be crispy and that's what I got. The rest of our dishes were really good and I would recommend them. See the pictures. This place is very popular with takeout orders.

After visiting this place twice now, this is my new favorite brunch spot! Atmosphere is cozy, and the portion sizes easily exceed expectations. The staff is amazing and will ensure you are taken care of. I will definitely continue to come here and recommend this place to others!

Worth the wait!! Delicious eggs Benedict and caramel ice coffee. My friend got the chicken and waffles and they looked great too!! Little bit of a wait on a Saturday morning (25 min wait at 11am). But SOO worth it!!

A colleague and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. If you go during lunchtime, be prepared for a wait—but we decided to try breakfast instead. It was still busy, but we were seated right away. You could tell this place stays in demand; the takeout orders were lined up across the counter, and drivers were constantly coming in and out picking up orders. Our food arrived hot and fresh. My vanilla cappuccino was the perfect start—smooth, tasty, and set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered the #3 breakfast with bacon, eggs, hash browns, and wheat toast, and everything was cooked just right. My friend had the breakfast burrito and said it was amazing. Service was great from start to finish. Overall, a solid breakfast spot that clearly has a loyal following. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is just the best. We have tried other brunch places in metro Detroit but we always find ourselves comparing it to Lucky since they set the standard. Their ownership, staff, and food are all excellent. They treat you with kindness and respect and make you feel like family. The place is clean, and most importantly the food is made with love and is fresh. Their menu is well designed, food appearance and preparation is amazing, and they do a nice job of trying to accommodate people with Gluten allergies as well. We always cant wait for the next time to eat here. Thank you Lucky, for providing a great place to eat breakfast & lunch and not succumbing to low quality food like so many other restaurants and competitors! Highly recommend the triple meat skillet as pictured!
